This weekend, Umm Al Emarat Park Abu Dhabi’s destination of choice welcomes guests to experience a brimming time filled with family activities, interactive workshops, and entertaining shows for the little ones.
Guests can look forward to a lineup of activities catered to all Park visitors this weekend, January 26th and 27th, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
Chinese Culture Day
Experience the richness of the Chinese culture at Umm Al Emarat Park, where a vibrant celebration awaits visitors in honor of “Chinese Cultural Day”. Featuring a captivating musical and cultural performance, engaging workshops, and a chance to dress up in traditional Chinese attire for an authentic touch. You can delve into the artistry of expressive writings through an in-depth calligraphy workshop or get to learn the steps to prepare authentic Chinese tea, a cultural and ancient ritual stemming from the rich Chinese heritage and history.
The weekend festivities are brought to Park visitors by the Chinese Language Institute Middle East, which starts from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Park’s Great Lawn. Where guests are welcome to embrace the beauty and traditions of the Chinese culture in the heart of Abu Dhabi at Umm Al Emarat Park.
Little ones activities
The little ones can also enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Umm Al Emarat Park with a range of exciting activities on Saturday 27th. They can start with “Fitness for Kids” at the Parks Great Lawn from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by an entertaining Arabic play by Sayadit Al Hekayat “Loqaimat in all Languages” from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
A mesmerizing “Magic & Balloons Show” will also take place at 6:30 PM and kids can unleash their creativity in a “Planting Workshop” with free giveaways from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Over at the Promenade “Ideal Medical Center” will be offering free dental consultations, giveaways, and discount vouchers from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
It’s an action-packed schedule catered to all Park visitors, promising a weekend of enjoyment and learning for the whole family!
Park Market
The Park Market will continue to welcome visitors every Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, where guests can explore a diverse array of local and international culinary delights, handcrafted goods, engaging activities and captivating performances that add to the vibrant atmosphere of the Park.
Cinema at the Park
This weekend, cinephiles can also look forward to enjoying screenings of their favorite films at Cinema at the Park. Catch “Finding Nemo” on Friday, January 26th at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, followed by a screening of “Raya and The Last Dragon” on Saturday, January 27th at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
